'Friend is me, my enemy is my enemy,' is a skin cancer screening program that we carry out every year as a social responsibility project. In this study, we aimed to determine the demographic characteristics, skin cancer risk factors and dermatological findings of the participants who applied to us within the scope of this project. Materials and Methods: A retrospective analysis was performed of all participants who were evaluated on the skin cancer screening day between 2014-2018. Sociodemographic characteristics, skin cancer risk factors and dermatological findings were determined from the medical records. Results: A total number of 546 participants were screened on this program Family skin cancer history was found in 69 (12.6%) people, personal skin cancer history was present in 15 (2.7%) people, and 28 (5.1%) people had a history of immunosuppression. Sun exposure for occupational reasons was in 151 (27.7%) people, for sporting activities in 260 (47.6%) people and for summer holiday in 437 (80%) people. A total of 395 (72.3%) lesions, which needs to monitorize, was found in 546 participants. Sixty-nine (12.6%) of the lesions were noticed by a dermatologist on our skin cancer screening program. Conclusion: Our datas show that the participants have many risk factors for skin cancer and that they could be diagnosed as precancerous and cancerous lesions through this program. In addition, the mutual and positive spiritual effects of this project, which is based on volunteering and as a team, also met our aim of serving the society.
